BRETT STEVENS CHARGED UP FOR BUNBURY VISIT
Australian Drag Racing Champion Brett ‘The Boss’ Stevens will be making a stop off with his Jack Daniel’s Racing team in Bunbury on March 10 to lay some rubber down at the Condello’s Liquor Store.
Stevens will be the special guest and star attraction at the Store on the day and will be performing his famous tyre frying burnout display in his custom-built 2500 horsepower Jack Daniel’s Racing Falcon Burnout Ute, where he will go through a complete set of Drag Racing slicks in a single show.
Taking a break between rounds of the National Drag Racing Championship Series, he hopes to tear apart the car park in the show in a must see demonstration for all motoring fans.
“I came down to Condello's with my team last year and had a great time so I thought I’d come back again, but this time I will be putting on a burnout show as well for the fans which they will not forget,” Stevens said.
“There is going to be plenty of horsepower, smoke, burning rubber and noise so if you like these make sure you get down to the show, I’ll make sure everyone gets a fix.”
“I will also have the teams 3000 horsepower Top Doorslammers and Nitro Harley’s on display to have a look over before we head back to the East Coast to continue racing in the National Championship.”
Stevens is one of Australia’s leading Drag Racers and is the only person in the world to compete in three professional Group 1 Drag Racing brackets simultaneously (Top Doorslammer, Top Bike and Top Alcohol).
Some of his recent Drag Racing accomplishments include winning the 2004 Australian Top Doorslammer and the 2005 Australian Top Bike Championships, member of the Australian Motorcycle Hall of Fame, holder of the quickest Australian Harley record with quarter mile run of 6.4 seconds, as well as various other records and titles.
Stevens will be making the special guest appearance at Condello's Liquor Store on Saturday March 10 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
